Junk terror bill

If the Senate Bill 1083 or the Anti-Terrorism Bill is passed as an act, the state and its forces have the absolute power in defining what constitutes the definition of terrorism, who are to be considered as terrorists, and what to do with these individuals. The act itself assumes that the state is the most rational in society, therefore, any suspicion by state institutions such as PNP and AFP is enough basis for being considered terrorists.

black lives matter

The #BlackLivesMatter Movement officially began in 2013, but the racism and police brutality that the black community experiences has been rampant for decades. The death of George Floyd last May, 2020 and all the other black lives (Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, and many more) that were taken by police and their abuse of authority enraged the entire world so much that it caused an uproar both in social media and in the streets.
